Bi-Weekly Case Filings

City Planning sends a regular electronic report on case filings and completed cases to neighborhood councils and community members. The bi-weekly case filings report includes a list of discretionary planning applications under the Department’s review along with project descriptions, addresses, and related information. Both sets of reports hyperlink each case number to the Department's Planning Document Information System (PDIS), a database of case summaries where users can find electronic documents associated with the project. Sign up here to receive the bi-weekly case filings report. For additional information and to obtain zoning information for any property in Los Angeles, consult City Planning’s web-based mapping application, the Zoning Information and Map Access System (ZIMAS).

Recent Case Filings

City Planning receives project filings continually. To keep the public up to date, City Planning maintains a dedicated webpage that displays recent filings as they are made available online.

Prefix and Suffix Summary

The acronyms at the beginning and end of case numbers contain useful information about projects’ entitlements. Consult the Prefix and Suffix Report for help interpreting City Planning’s case numbers.
